"Real-time" integration means that transactions created in simba are immediately and automatically entered into QuickBooks. There is no need to "export" data from simba and then "import" it into QuickBooks, as is the case with other clinic management software.
With simba OMS, accounting data is stored in just one place -- the QuickBooks company file. This prevents inconsistencies which could arise when accounting data is maintained in more than one sytem.

How does simba OMS work?
simba OMS is an internet-based solution. All of the simba OMS software and data is located in a secure data centre, and users access the application via the internet.
Do I need to be connected to the Internet to use simba OMS?
Yes. A high-speed (1.5Mbps or better) internet connection is recommended, but a dial-up connection is acceptable as a backup.
What kind of computer and operating system do I need to use simba OMS?
Any computer with a standard web browser will be sufficient for using simba OMS.
How much does simba OMS cost? Is there a setup charge?
simba OMS is priced on a monthly subscription basis, with prices starting at $149/month (CAD). There is no setup charge.
What do I do if I want to stop using simba OMS?
You can stop using simba OMS at any time. We will provide you with a copy of your clinic data should you wish to use it with another system.

Installing simba OMS is as simple as clicking on a link in your web browser, and takes no more than 3 minutes.
How do I get upgrades and enhancements to simba OMS?
Simply start the simba OMS application the way you would normally do. New features will be automatically available. There is no need to download or install any software.
How often are enhancements and upgrades released? Do I have to pay for them?
The timing varies, but enhancements are usually released every 2-3 months, and are included in the monthly subscription fee.
Can my existing data be imported into simba OMS?
Yes, if it is in an electronic format. We have successfully imported data from a variety of different systems, including Clarity OMS, QuickBooks, MS-Access, and SOS.
How long does data conversion take, and how much does it cost?
The time required varies depending on the nature and quantity of the data. Generally, data conversion requires 12-15 hours of work, and is charged at our standard rate of $50/hr (CAD).
What training is required to learn to use simba OMS?
simba OMS is designed to be easy to use and very user-friendly, and typically 2-3 hours of training is all that is required to learn all of the system's features. A detailed "User's Guide" is also provided.
We provide up to 4 hours of training at no charge to get you started, and additional training is available at our standard rate of $50/hr (CAD).
What support is available? How much does it cost?
Technical support is available during your standard business hours, via telephone or email. Support is included in the monthly subscription fee.
We are also able to provide remote assistance via the internet for training or troubleshooting purposes. It's like having a simba expert right beside you!
